Listen to New Music From Joel Drzycimski's Aeroplane Company

For those of you unfamiliar with Joel Drzycimski's work, it isn't uncommon to hear a little bit of punk angst from the Cureton frontman. His most popular project is the pop punk duo, Cureton, which he formed with his best friend Caleb Davis. With Cureton being on hiatus this year, fans are interested to see what new things that are going to come from its members.

This afternoon a surprise release from Drzycimski's instrumental side project, Aeroplane Company, blessed the masses to help us celebrate the eclipse. The aptly titled ECLIPSE - EP features only two tracks. The first track, "Sun," is an upbeat electronic jam that gives the listener the feelings of sitting in the sunlight. While densely layered, "Sun" has a gentile quality to it. There are lots of bubbly sounding synths that float through the pads creating a swirly background.

The second track on the EP is the antithesis to "Sun." Weirdly enough, the second and final track is called "Moon." "Moon" starts off with a similar electronic pad that "Sun" had; however, the electronic nature of the track is overshadowed by an aggressive electric bass. As the track progresses, more and more electric guitars are added.

This is a great release from the guy who brought us Mui Mui Senator. On the buy it, stream it, or pass spectrum, we highly recommend you buy it.
