Might as well call it New Music Saturday, eh? Eh? Also Pitchfork stole this column's name, so I am going to sue Ryan Schreiber.

The World is a Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Die - Always Foreign

Connecticut indie rock and fourth-wave emo pioneers release their third album. Includes "Dillon and Her Son" and "Marine Tigers." All purchases of the album on Bandcamp will benefit the Immigrant Defense Project until October 5th, so go buy it!

Four Tet - New Energy

Kieran Hebdan's ninth (!) album and first since 2015. Includes "Scientists," "SW9 9SL," and "Planet."

Ben Frost - The Centre Cannot Hold

Fifth album from the Icelandic composer was recorded with Steve Albini over the course of ten days. Described as "an attempt at transcribing a spectrum of glowing ultramarine into sound." Neat.

Ibeyi - Ash

French-Canadian twins release their sophomore album. Follows 2015's self-titled record. Feature Kamasi Washington and Chilly Gonzales.

Miley Cyrus - Younger Now

This album may be about being young, but it's so bland that you age seventeen years per song! What a deal!

Primus - The Desaturating Seven

Les Claypool and Co. are back with their ninth album and first LP of original material in 22 years. It's a concept record about rainbow goblins, which is pretty much what to expect from Primus by now.

Propagandhi - Victory Lap

Canada's best punk band with the word "Gandhi" in the title returns with their first new album in five years. The album art is objectively fantastic.

Protomartyr - Relatives in Descent

The happiest ever post-punk band from Detroit release their fourth album. Includes the title track and "My Children."

TORRES - Three Futures

Mackenzie Scott's junior(?)/third album. Produced by Rob Ellis, who also produced 2015's Sprinter. Includes "Skim" and the title track.

Wolf Alice - Visions of a Life

UK indie-poppers release their sophomore album, including "Don't Delete the Kisses." Maybe the Current will play a different song of theirs every five minutes now.

Kamasi Washington - Harmony of a Difference

The only saxophonist rap nerds know about is back with a new EP. Follows his excellent 2015 LP The Epic.

Knox Fortune - Paradise

That guy who is on some Chance songs makes his solo debut!

Smokepurpp - Deadstar

Unfortunately, it's not just a 45-minute cover of that Muse song. It's just a lot of SoundCloud rap.
