Watch St. Vincent's Surreal Interview

Annie Clark, better known by her stage name St. Vincent, is releasing a series of videos on her Instagram account. The videos are short clips of the generic interview questions that musicians are usually asked. In a profile done by the New Yorker, it was mentioned that Clark collaborate with Slater-Kinney's Carrie Brownstein create the series. Brownstein wrote the questions and then Clark shot a short film around them.

The videos have a similar Day Glo color scheme that you see in the video for her new single "New York." Annie Clark delivers her answers in her characteristic deadpan style. Along with the color scheme, the viewer is met with striking costumes worn by the cast. Clark herself is wearing a see-through latex top and a pink latex skirt. She is also accompanied by three female "crew members" who are wearing assless latex chaps, chestless latex tops, dominatrix hoods, collars, and heels. The short film is very stylized in a way that screams Annie Clark.
