At Least 50 Dead And Over 200 Injured During Las Vegas Country Music Festival

The Las Vegas Route 91 country music festival came to a tragic end Sunday night after a gun opened fire on attendees. 58 people are confirmed dead with 515 people wounded. A lone gunman, identified as Stephen Paddock by Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, opened fire on the crowd from his 32nd floor room in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Swat teams responded quickly to the shots and the suspect was found dead at the scene. Authorities believe he killed himself. Multiple rifles were found in the hotel room and another suspect has been detained.

This shooting is the largest shooting at a concert in modern history.
