Minneapolis punks Remo Drive have released a music video for their new single "Blue Ribbon." The video stays true to the bands tongue in cheek aesthetic as it follows brothers Erik and Stephen Paulson as they fight evil villains in a warehouse. They even got a Walmart version Chris O'Donnell from the movie Batman & Robin to make an appearance. This video is also the first one to feature the band without drummer Sam Mathys . Mathys did play drums on the song (and subsequent EP) before leaving the band. "Blue Ribbon" is the first single from the band since they signed to Epitaph Records. Watch the video below.  

Remo Drive have been busy this week! Today, they announced that they have signed to iconic punk label Epitaph Records. Additionally, they are reissuing their excellent debut album, Greatest Hits , on vinyl and CD. And if that wasn't enough, they released a new song that will appear on a new 7" single. "Blue Ribbon" is an ode to making bad decisions (such as "eating candy and Blue Ribbon") in the interest of having a good time. The song features recently departed drummer Sam Mathys. Minnesota's own emo outfit, Remo Drive, kicked off their end of summer tour today (August 22nd). The band has been steadily growing in popularity since the release of their debut album,  Greatest Hits, in March of this year. In May, Remo Drive did a short tour with fellow local indie rockers Hippo Campus, and in mid July they were able to open for Jeff Rosenstock. Through the end of August into mid September Remo drive will be embarking on a tour of the midwest and eastern US with Cleveland's McCafferty.
