Decemberists' frontman Colin Meloy announced on Instagram that he is working on a new record. A picture posted to Meloy's personal Instagram shows a van full of equipment and a caption that says, "Loading in for record 8."
The Decemberists last album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World was released in 2015. The photo prompted excitement from fans who feel that a new record from the band is long over due.
