Motorhead's Eddie Clarke Dead At 67

"Fast" Eddie Clarke has died. He was the last surviving member of Motörhead's classic lineup after the deaths of frontman Lemmy Kilmister and drummer Phil "Filthy Animal" Taylor in 2015. Clarke's death was announced via Motörhead's Facebook page early this morning. The Facebook post said, "Fast Eddie passed peacefully in hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia..."

Clarke joined the band in 1976 where he helped cement Motörhead in music history. He was known for his fast and aggressive guitar work that can be heard on some of the bands best selling records. After leaving the band in 1985, Clarke formed the heavy metal band Fastway which went on to release seven albums and toured with AC/DC.
