Mount Eerie Announces New Album

Almost one year after the release of A Crow Looked At Me, one of the best albums of 2017, Phil Elverum has announced a new album under his Mount Eerie moniker. The six-track album, Now Only, is out on March 16, 2018. It features the 11-minute song "Distortion." Written and recorded shortly after the release of A Crow Looked At Me and its ensuing live performances, it continues on the themes of loss, loneliness and grief while simultaneously exploring "the evolution of [Phil's] relationship to [Geneviève's] and her memory, and of the effect the artistic exploration of his grief has had on his own life." Listen to "Distortion" and check out Now Only's tracklist below. Pre-order it here.
