Another big day of releases! Somehow they're almost all indie/rock albums, plus whatever Fall Out Boy is trying to do!

Bahamas - Earthtones (Brushfire)

Fourth album from Canadian indie folk project. Follows 2014's Bahamas is Alfie. Bahamas recently opened for Jack Johnson on tour, so I guess that's what you're getting into. Includes singles "No Wrong" and "Way With Words."

Charlie Puth - Voicenotes (Atlantic)

Second studio album from this singing piece of white bread! It will sound like eating white bread. Or maybe milk toast. Features Boyz II Men, which is definitely what the people want. Includes "Attention," among other things.

Bell and Sebastian - How to Solve Our Human Problems, Pt. 2 (Matador)

Second installment of the legendary Scottish indie pop group's EP trilogy. Another pleasant bite-sized piece of odd melodies and catchy songwriting. Where could it go wrong?

The Shins - The Worm's Heart (Aural Apothecary/Columbia)

Complete reworking of their fifth album, last year's Heartworms. The tracklist mirrors its counterpart, and dynamics and tempo have been inverted. If you're a fan of the Shins, this will certainly be an interesting listen.

Fall Out Boy - M A N I A (Island)

The iconic emo/pop-punk band's seventh album. Unfortunately, delaying it from it's original September release date probably didn't make it good. "Young and Menace" attempted to mine the stalest aspects of dubstep, and it can only get worse from there!

tUnE-yArDs - I can feel you creep into my private life (4AD)

Eclectic New Englanders are back with their first album in four years, and fourth overall. Includes the awesome single "ABC 123." It's sure to be weird in the best way.

Glen Hansard - Between Two Shores (ANTI-)

Irish singer-songwriter and Academy Award winner released his third solo album. Follows 2015's Didn't He Ramble and Longitude with his band The Frames.

SiR - November (Top Dawg)

Labelmate of Kendrick Lamar finally releases his debut project. Billed as a "space odyssey about love," it is sure to fit in nicely in the Top Dawg discography. Follows his HER and HER TOO EPs, released in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Half Japanese - Why Not (Fire)

Art punk elder statesmen keep their reunion streak going with their seventeenth(!) album. For a band that has been going for almost 40 straight years, they are remarkably prolific. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

Porches - The House (Domino)

Aaron Maine's second full-length under the Porches moniker. Bound to be filled to the brim with bouncy and emotional synths. Includes the excellent singles "Find Me" and "Country." Follows 2016's Pool and Water EP.

The Go! Team - Semicircle (Memphis Industries)

Fifth record from happy-go-lucky British weirdos. Includes the sort of titular "Semicircle Song" and "Mayday." Their last album was The Scene Between, released in 2015.

Mudhoney - LiE (Sub Pop)

Mark Arm and the boys are back for their tenth album and seventh for good ol' Sub Pop. Check it out for your daily dose of throwback grunge-y punk. LiE is their first album in five years, following Vanishing Point in 2013.

They Might Be Giants - I Like Fun (Idlewild)

Most bands don't even release more than five albums. Compare that to They Might Be Giants' twenty. Put some respect on their name, for crying out loud. If you like fun, you deserve to listen to this album.

First Aid Kit - Ruins (Columbia)

Fourth record from the Swedish folk duo. Harmonies galore! Stay Gold was the band's latest.

Shopping - The Official Body (FatCat)

Any album with inflatable gators on the cover deserves a listen. Also, it's the band's third full-length of grinding post-punk. Includes "The Hype," so get hyped.
