Over the weekend Sorority Noise front-man Cameron Boucher announced that the band would be taking time off. In a statement released via social media, Boucher said, "I think it's in my heart and mind's best interest to take a break from the band for a while." To close the statement, Boucher said, "In our time away, use this opportunity to find new bands, ones you might not normally listen to, and listen to what they have to say." The band will still continue their upcoming US tour with Remo Drive, Foxx Bodies, and Jelani Sei.
Sorority Noise will be releasing a rearranged version of their 2017 album You're Not a __ As You Think on March 17. The band worked with Michael Underwood to add strings to the album. An early stream is available on Spotify, and it definitely gives off a Quiet Slang vibe with the more muted sound.
